REQUEST FOR INFORMATION National Guard Bureau This Request for Information is issued solely for information and planning purposes it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Army is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. 1. Description: The National Guard Bureau's Operational Contracting Division Contracting Office (NGB-AQ-C), 111 South George Mason, Arlington, VA 22204 is issuing this request for information as a means of conducting market research to identify interested parties to support Tellabs experts and online self-help resources required to resolve issues with most Tellabs products, extensive self-help support through Tellabs online knowledge base, Operating System (OS) software updates, firmware updates, security patches and advance hardware replacement Services, as defined in this PWS. See page 18 of the PWS for the list of equipment to be covered. 2. Background: The Air National Guard Readiness Center Readiness Center provides over 1400 users all technical support services required to engineer, implement, and provide key information assurance controls, operations and the maintenance for both unclassified Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router (NIPRNet) and classified Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) systems, servers, security capability, voice, additionally the Unit is charged with Public Address services to support high-level events across the Air National Guard Readiness Center (ANGRC). 3. Requested Information: The National Guard Bureau is interested in obtaining the following information: a) Are there any alternative NAICS for the request. b) Please reference the attached PWS and provide comments. Please state if your company plans to submit a proposal for the Air National Guard (ARNG) Tellabs online knowledge base, Operating System (OS), (if solicited). If not, please provide the reasons your company does not plan to submit a proposal. 4. Responses: National Guard Bureau invites response from vendors with federal contracts or contract-like instruments you determine to meet the requirements. 5. The responses must include the firm name or company. 7. Summary: THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY to identify financial impact to federal contracts affected by wage increases required by this Executive Order. This information will be used to develop internal knowledge banks and to formulate financial impacts to contractual obligations and will be used in the formulation of future pricing requests for contracts and contract-like instruments prior to award, renewal or extension (including exercise of options). No contract will be awarded as a result of this RFI. The Government intends to solicit later, second quarter time frame. The release of this RFI should not be construed as a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
