The DLA-Aviation is issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for a Robotic Spray/Grit System Refurbishment and Upgrade requiring Oerlicon-Metco PT Pro 120 Plasma Power Supply arc starter and a Tecnar Accuraspray 4.0 Plume monitoring system. The upgrade requires the integration of Progressive Surface (CAGE 06EH8) Process Reporting and Integrated Monitoring System (PRIMS) and Computer Integrated Thermal Spray (CITS) Pro control system. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. Submission Instructions: Interested parties should submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by January 30, 2025, NLT 11:59 pm EST. Responses should not exceed ten (10) one-sided 8.5 x 10 inch pages with a font that is no smaller than 10 point as this is not a request for a proposal but only a request for submission of a vendor's capability to perform this requirement. DLA Aviation Richmond intends to award a sole source contract for the Robotic Spray/Grit System Refurbishment and Upgrade with requiring an Oerlicon-Metco PT Pro 120 Plasma Power Supply and arc starter and a Tecnar Accuraspray 4.0 Plume monitoring system, including the integration of Progressive Surface Process Reporting and Integrated Monitoring System (PRIMS) Prim Software and Computer Integrated Thermal Spray (CITS) Pro CITS Software control system. DLA Aviation is seeking sources that can provide equipment and upgrades, install, and training for the booth refurbishment. Place of performance is FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST (FRCSW) North Island California.
