FAMILY OF WEAPON SIGHTS CREW SERVED (FWS-CS) MK19 BRACKET. This Statement of Work (SOW) establishes the manufacturing and acceptance requirements and specifies the tasks the Contractor shall perform while producing the FWS-CS MK19 Bracket. The FWS-CS weapon sight will be used as an aiming device on the MK19 Automatic Grenade Launcher (AGL). Soldiers use an aiming device to align themselves, their weapon, and the target for increased accuracy and target recognition at greater distances. The MK19 Adjustable Sight Bracket is the mounting hardware that allows for attachment of the FWS-CS weapon sight (aiming device) to the MK19 weapon. Update January 13, 2023: Solicitation Amendment 0001 incoporates a revised response deadline, SOW revisions, attachment updates, and the Government's response to vendor questions. Update January 19, 2023: Revise the Title of the Government's response to vendor questions and incorporate additional responses to vendor questions. Update January 23, 2023: Incorporate updates to the Government's response to vendor questions.
