NAVAIR is updating Solicitation Number: 223510-19, in accordance with REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) Electro Optic/Infrared (EO/IR) Targeting Pod, originally released on 15 August 2019, the description herein provides additional updated information for the Navy’s requirement. (See RFI_223510_Update) This update does not include a request for additional information from industry as the data request from Solicitation Number: 223510-19 has already been satisfied. This publication constitutes an updated RFI to the industry notice pursuant to FAR Part 15.201(e). The Government does not presently intend to award a contract. 1/26/2022- Update RFI- Source Sought. The Government no longer has a requirement to obtain information regarding Electro Optic/Infrared (EO/IR) Targeting Pod. In response to the Marine Corps commitment to transfer the devesting LIGTENING Pods to the USN, NAVAIR will obtain LITENING Pods and services through the use of The Economy Act in accordance with FAR 17.502-2.
