The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has a requirement to procure a Life of Type Buy for the NXP, IC, Proc, P5020, 1600MHz/1200MHz, FC-PBGA-1295, IND, Rev-2.0. Configuration Part Number: P5020NXE7QMB. NAVAIR intends to procure 1,050 NXP processor parts. As the prime contractor for the Distributed Targeting Processor Networked (DTP-N), Boeing is the original designer and integrator of the DTP-N into the F/A -18 weapon system and as such, is the only source that possesses all of the technical data to ensure delivery of all parts within 3 months of contract award. NAVAIR intends to negotiate the effort as a sole source delivery order with The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO. Award will be made with authority under FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. No phone calls will be accepted. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. A determination not to compete this proposed effort based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
