The LoTB is for the Broadcom Inc., IC, Ethernet-Transceiver, Part numbers: BCM5482S, FBGA-121, and BCM5482SHA2IFBG and ensure a delivery of a quantity of 1,770 parts within 3 months of contract award to support the Distributed Targeting Processor Networked (DTP-N). The contractor shall have a Supply Chain Risk Management program that includes Counterfeit Detection and Reporting, and shall be able to demonstrate and maintain visibility into the supply chain for the procurement of the Broadcom Ethernet Transceiver. The government intends to negotiate the contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the action described herein is 336413. GENERAL INFORMATION: The Boeing Company is the manufacturer of the DTP-N. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining, from The Boeing Corporation, any information deemed essential to ensure the parts are compatible with the current production DTP-N. This is an on-going effort with Boeing. Any interested party shall be responsible for obtaining from The Boeing Company all aircraft data required for the support of this effort at no cost to the U.S. Navy. Any respondent must also submit a Statement of Qualifications to demonstrate their ability to perform to the Government's needs within the required response time. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
