NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Mechanicsburg is seeking eligible contractors to furnish and repair the item specified within this document. Government intends to solicit for the manufacture or repair of: 7HH 4240 015516158, P/N 3403403, Nomenclature: LANYARD,SAFETY,INDU. The government does not possess (or cannot provide) the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the item. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations. However, all proposals/quotes received within 15 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to proceed with this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair. Additional information for submitting a Source Approval Request package can be obtained at: https://public.navsup.navy.mil/public/ops$public.business_vendor_form_new. The spare repairable assemblies to be repaired and/or modified under this agreement are set forth by manufacturer's part number and constitute "Government Property" as defined in FAR clause 52.245-1 "Government Property" or 52.245-1 Alternate I, as applicable. NAVSUP WSS is also seeking to determine if there are any commercial items (CI) or non-developmental items (NDI) that will satisfy the repair needs of this forthcoming procurement. In addition, NAVSUP WSS is seeking any eligible small business firms including service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, certified HUBZone small businesses, and certified 8(a) capable of performing these repairs.
