The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price delivery order under the Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-16-G-0001 to The Boeing Company, 6200 J.S. McDonnell Blvd Saint Louis, MO 63166, using authority FAR Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The order will be for reliability and maintainability improvements, including sustainment studies. The Boeing Company is the only contractor that is able to perform this requirement, as it is the original aircraft manufacturer and systems integrator. Boeing is the only contractor with the knowledge, experience, and technical data access rights to assess, recommend, and implement aircraft part improvements to assist in NAVAIR’s readiness initiatives.
