Dyess AFB located in Abilene, Texas, is seeking potential sources to supply Commercial Internet Provider (CIP) support for the 7th Force Support Squadron (7 FSS) for Quality of Life (QoL)-Net. QoL-Net is commercial internet separate from Non-classified Internet Protocol (IP) Router (NIPR) utilized on Dyess AFB. SPECIFICATIONS: QoL-Net internet speeds shall not be lower than 1 Gbps download/1 Gbps upload. Potential contractors will be required to provide CIP support that will maintain a 99% reliability rating and come on site in the event of a CIP outage. CIP services will be used 24 hours a day/7 days a week/365 days a year (24/7/365). **NOTE: This requirement will not include the installation of any IT infrastructure on the installation. If any other service provider (currently utilizing Suddenlink) is utilized, the equipmet and installation costs cannot be passed onto the Government. Also, the Government already has network equipment in place to provide internet access in the FSS facilities across the base. The current equipment in place was installed by and is owned by Suddenlink; therefore any other service provider will be required to install the necessary switches to connect to the existing IT network.
