ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. Closing Date: 31 May 2022 Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is seeking to identify potential vendors capable of accomplishing the following tasks: Conduct shock, vibration, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing on the Navy Compact Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS), in accordance with MIL-DTL-901, MIL-STD-167-1, and MIL-STD-461. This testing is required in preparation for future BWTS install on Navy surface ships. Generate test procedures and test reports that are approved by NAVSEA Technical Authority. Specification/SOW: A Statement of Work (SOW) is attached to this sources sought to assist vendors and manufacturers in understanding the NSWCCD testing requirements mentioned above. A solicitation date is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the Contract Opportunities website at https://sam.gov/content/home at a later date. All interested parties must respond to the solicitation announcement separately from this announcement. It is the responsibility of the potential offeror to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. If your company/organization has the potential capacity to perform these services, please provide the following information: Company name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and type of ownership for the organization. Point of contact name, telephone number, and email address. Size of business - Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantage, 8(a), Hubzone, Woman-owned and/or Veteran-owned. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organization should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. Company capability statement to provide one or more of the specified environmental testing services and any possible exceptions to the requirements in the SOW. This statement should include at a minimum the following: Experience conducting shock testing (per MIL-DTL-901), vibration testing (per MIL-STD-167-1) and/or EMI testing (per MIL-STD-461). Proof of laboratory experience providing test procedures and test reports approved by applicable NAVSEA Technical Authority. Rough order of magnitude quote for the cost of testing services. List of test fixtures types/platforms available at the laboratory. List of laboratory services or infrastructure available for testing, such as power, clean water, clean air, tanks, pumps, etc. Expected test availability for Q3/Q4 FY23.
