The Government executed a modification for a scope change and a 2-year extension (from 14 Sept 2026 to 14 Sept 2028) to the ordering period for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with The Boeing Company. The modification was awarded using FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements” for the acquisition of surveillance and sustainment support to the B61-13 Tail Kit Assembly (TKA) and future variations of the B61-12 TKA and B61-13 TKA (referred to as the B61 Family of Systems (FoS)). The AFNWC required additional sustainment support for new variations to the current B61 FoS. The Boeing Company is the only one source able to provide the services necessary.
