Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract to Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) of Chicago, Illinois for continued accreditation for 33 residency and fellowship graduate medical education programs at Brooke Army Medical Center, JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The contract will be awarded to the ACGME, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501. This contract will be issued for a base performance period of 01 January 2021 – 31 December 2021, plus one (1) twelve month option period, 01 January 2022 – 31 December 2022. The programs requiring accreditation are as follows: The following programs have five (5) or fewer residents: ? Allergy and immunology ? Emergency medical services ? Undersea and hyperbaric medicine (Emergency medicine) ? Endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism ? Rheumatology ? Nuclear medicine ? Cytopathology ? Musculoskeletal radiology ? Surgical critical care ? Sleep Medicine (multidisciplinary) ? Pain Medicine (multidisciplinary) The following programs have six (6) or more residents: ? Anesthesiology ? Dermatology ? Emergency medicine ? Internal medicine ? Cardiovascular disease ? Gastroenterology ? Infectious Disease ? Hematology and medical oncology ? Pulmonary disease and critical care medicine ? Neurology ? Obstetrics and gynecology ? Ophthalmology ? Orthopedic surgery ? Otolaryngology – head and neck surgery ? Pathology – anatomic and clinical ? Pediatrics ? Adolescent medicine ? Neonatal-perinatal medicine ? Radiology – diagnostics ? Surgery ? Urology ? Transitional year The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 611710, Educational Support Services. The small business size standard is $16.5M. ACGME is an other-than-small business under this NAICS code. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. In order for the Government to consider another source, the capability statement must identify the source's ability to provide accreditation to graduate medical education programs that meet or exceed the common standards of ACGME and Army Regulation 351-3, Professional Education and Training Programs of the Army Medical Department. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NOTE: INTERESTED VENDORS MUST RESPOND TO THIS NOTICE IN WRITING TO THE BELOW POCs ON OR BEFORE 23 DECEMBER 2020 BY 4:00 PM CST IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.
