The contractor shall provide non-personal services, to include all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to restore a monoculture of Coastal Bermuda grass and maintain the airfield in Coastal Bermuda turf grass. The contractor should perform all operations necessary for pesticide treatments via rotary-wing aircraft and will advise Barksdale Air Force Base (AFB) Point of Contact (POC) on planting new grass seed requirements to include; pre-area surveys for soil and grass sampling and testing, fertilization and soil amendment determinations of natural areas of Barksdale AFB’s airfield as a turf management consultant. The contractor will also de-conflict grass cutting and annual turf maintenance with existing airfield mowing contractor in order to provide best results from herbicide, insecticide, and/or pesticide treatments.
