Combined Synopsis- Solicitation for Commercial Items (IAW FAR 12.603) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number FA4608-21-Q-0042 in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13, and is in accordance with provisions and clauses effective in Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2021-05) as of 3 March 2021. This is a total set aside for small business and the associated North American Industry Classification (NAICS) number is 334290. The small business size standard is 750 employees. Contracting Office Address: Department of the Air Force, Air Force Global Strike Command, 2 CONS – Barksdale AFB, LA, 801 Kenney Ave. Suite 2301, Barksdale AFB, 71110, United States. Description/Purpose: This requirement is for the purchase and installation of 77 access control panels, keypad readers, and electric strikes. Removal of existing mechanical hardware and install door wrap or plates as needed. Install new lever lock with new cores. The equipment used MUST be compatible with the Paxton systems currently in place. All equipment MUST be “Brand Name” or “Equal” and any equipment purchased that is not Paxton specific (Equal) must be an approved system listed on Paxton's Website (https://www.paxton-access.com/us/integrating-with-paxton/) at the time of the solicitation posting. The purpose of this requirement is to secure rooms located in facilities throughout the base that have SIPR/NIPR, with a controlled system that will record who has entered the room ensuring accountability. Along with the Paxton compatibility, all electrical must meet current standards, installation of communications wiring must be CAT6. All of the equipment will be installed on Barksdale AFB, in each of the buildings listed in the "FY21-Install" PDF document attached below. Due Date and Time: ***All questions in regards to the requirement have been answered and posted in the document titled "Questions and Answers." and "Questions and Answers 2". No more questions are to be submitted pertaining to this requirement.*** Quotes are required to be received no later than Tuesday, 17 August 2021, 12:00 PM CST. *This requirement is subject to the availability of funds. All quotes MUST be good through 1 October 2021 and must include FOB Destination.* “Notice to Offeror(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date.
