Requirement: Six (6) Portable Air Conditioning Units The Government has a requirement for six (6) Portable Air Conditioning Units with all required specifications listed below. Required Specifications for Portable Air Conditioning Units: The new air conditioners shall be model PAC5N3ASWHW manufactured by United CoolAir Corporation. Each unit will have a thermostat that can be installed remotely with a minimum of 25' of control cable. The condenser coils of the units shall have a guard and shall be Electrofin coated to prevent premature corrosion and increase coil durability. The units shall be equipped for 208/230 v, three phase, 60 Hz power. The air conditioning units shall be equipped with hot gas bypass capabilities for increased efficiency. The air conditioner capacity of each unit shall not be less than 57,100 BTUH or the equivalent to a 5 ton unit. The required Refrigerant type shall be R-410a. Each air conditioning unit’s weight shall not exceed 670 lbs. The units shall have two 14" duct collars (one supply and one return) The air conditioning units shall have a power block and associated circuit breakers integrated into the system design to prevent evaporator, condenser, and compressor overload and damage. The air conditioner cabinet shall be constructed of heavy duty steel. The contractor will be required to ship the six (6) portable air conditioning units directly to Building 3302 Redstone Arsenal Huntsville, AL 35898. When responding to this RFQ please address in detail each of the requirement’s listed above within your quote. The contractor shall provide a firm delivery schedule for the six (6) portable air conditioning units to the Huntsville AL, address listed above.
