This is a Sources Sought to determine the availability of potential small business sources for procurement of two Diesel Portable Air Compressors for Defense Fuel Supply Point (DSFP), Jacksonville, FL. Additional detailed information is provided via the attached Draft Description of Requirement (DOR). The DOR describes only the currently contemplated possible scope of requirement and may vary from the work scope in a final DOR included in any Request for Quotations (RFQ). The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. As part of its market research, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ) is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested Contractors capable of fulfilling this requirement as further described in the Draft DOR. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of NAVSUP FLCJ’s market research. No RFQ exists. A firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order is anticipated with a required delivery of 1 April 2024. Offerors possessing the requisite skills, resources and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirement are invited to respond to this Sources Sought via the submission of an executive summary, no more than five (5) single sided pages in length. Responses must use twelve point Times New Roman font. The submission should include the following information: 1) company name, address, and point of contact with corresponding phone number and e-mail address; 2) Unique Entity ID number, business size and classification; and 3) Schedule contract number. In your response provide a brief description of the capability, resources, and technical competencies and specifications relative to the requirement. Standard brochures and/or paraphrasing of the Draft DOR will not be considered sufficient to demonstrate the capabilities of an interested party. Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes on which NAVSUP FLCJ can issue any orders. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The Government does not intend to award a schedule order based only on responses to this Sources Sought. Please restrict all responses to non-proprietary information. Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought, NAVSUP FLCJ will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought.
