The radiator provides cooling for the vehicle engine. HEAVY DUTY RADIATOR LLC has the requisite technical and engineering expertise to perform all efforts required to provide the supplies identified in this J&A. No vendor has successfully developed and passed all required testing. Hence, they are the only one who were designated the approved sources on the TDP. The approved source identified above has demonstrated the unique and proven manufacturing capabilities to establish and maintain the processing control required to produce this item repetitively. Please Note: -This notice is not an open solicitation i.e., Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP). -Qualification testing and evaluation is required to become an approved source. -Source approval does not guarantee business. -Qualifying as an approved source only provides the opportunity to compete on future solicitations. -This action is currently sole source to one contractor.
