This sources sought is to determine manufacturers/suppliers capable of providing 120 Low Molarity Lithium Bromine Chloride BCS battery cells in support of the VC-25B Navigation System comprised of Honeywell Embedded Global Positioning System/Inertial Reference System units known as EGIs. The battery cells must contain a chemical composition that can reduce negative effects should thermal runaway take place. The batteries must contain a reduced concentration of electrolytic salt to improve safety by protecting the cell from high currents during a short circuit, therefore preventing a hazardous reaction.
