DLA Land Warren is seeking to identify possible sources that can supply: Item Name: 25MM Flexible Ammunition Chute NSN: 1005-01-176-6085 Government Part Number: 12328757-1 Quantity: Minimum 248 each End Item: The Ammunition Chute is used to feed the ammo into the main gun M242/25mm. The 25MM gun is an electrically powered, chain-driven, dual-feed automatic weapon. The dual-feed chutes mechanically connect the gun with two ammo bins and the feeder position controls which ammo bin is in use. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP), detailed drawings and performance specifications for this item. Additionally this sources sought announcement is not for a development effort, but a base amount and 100% option. This survey is published in compliance with FAR Part 10 (Market Research). The purpose of this survey is to canvas the industry for any possible other sources. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in responding or in any subsequent exchange of information. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are due no later than 11:59 PM eastern standard time, November 24th, 2021. Submissions should be emailed to: amy.hahka@dla.mil. However, in order to become an approved source, potential sources will have to participate in the Source Approval Program through the TACOM Competition Management Office (https://tacom.army.mil/cmo). Potential sources should note: -Qualification testing and evaluation IS REQUIRED to become an approved source. -Source approval DOES NOT guarantee business. -Qualifying as an approved source only provides the opportunity to compete on future solicitations.
