It controls and distributes 300 A of Utility (dirty) bus power and 300 A of Electronics (clean) bus power throughout the turret. It also has a switching rectifier (isolation diode) installed between the utility power bus and the turret battery to support lethality functions. The Power Assembly S2PC is capable of communicating to other LRUs in the BFVS via a SAE J1939 Controller Area Network (CAN) bus.
