The contractor shall provide Emergency Escape Breathing Devices that have the ability to provide up to 60 minutes of Oxygen provided from a compressed gas cylinder through a hood enclosure. The hood enclosure must have the ability to protect the wearer from fire, toxic fumes, hazardous chemicals, and chemical warfare agents. Hood, Oxygen assembly, and storage container must not weigh over 2 lbs. Storage container/ pouch must be constructed of a soft fabric with flame resistant properties. Fabric pouch must have a shoulder strap, belt loop, flashlight holder, and clear window on the back for hood data viewing. Color of pouch must be orange and have the following printed on the bottom left of each case: “RRMC”. Devices must have a shelf life of more than 10 years from the date of manufacture, and be delivered to the requiring agency factory new.
