Conduct needed repairs to the Fort Knox Fire Departments 3 story training / class "A" burn facility located on 9th Ave Fort Knox, KY 2. Maintenance and Repairs: - Replace damage thermal tiles in the Class A Burn room not to exceed 6 total. - Install 16 square feet of thermal lining outside of the interior burn room door to protect joists and other framing members from heat. *Preferred thermal liner for inside and outside the burn room: Padgenite 1 and Super Padgenite HD. Thermal lining must be able to perform and maintain shape with temperatures exceeding 1200 F and must prevent heat from transferring to the structure - Provide a new patch panel, NEMA box, coil cables, thermal couplings and wireless pyrometer for class "A" burn room. two temperature sensing devices/thermocouples are to be replaced for the interior of the burn room. The thermocouples shall be grounded and consist of fiberglass insulated wiring with sealed stainless steel probes. Ceiling thermocouples shall protrude into the area perpendicular to the ceiling while all stainless steel encased wall thermocouples shall only run parallel to the walls for safety concerns.
