This is an update to the Sources Sought Notice announcement 20191120 posted on November 20, 2019.The update is to respond to questions posed during the submittal of the Capability Statements and provide Industry with the revised date for Industry Day to be held in Guantanamo Bay Cuba (GTMO). The Industry Day has changed and is rescheduled for 4 and 5 March 2020. Registration for industry day will close on 24 January 2020. Interested participants must email identified below with the names of no more than four people that will be participating in the oral presentations. If you have already registered for participation in Industry Day, do not register again. Due to security reasons, all interested parties will be contacted with further registration and flight instructions. Interested parties must email SFC Diaz at victor.h.diaz8.mil@mail.mil with a courtesy copy to velia.pier.civ@mail.mil with the names of no more than four people that will be participating in the oral presentations. E-mails shall be titled with the Subject line as follows: Industry Day Participation for Multi-Purpose Permanent and Temporary Structures. The purpose of Industry day is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of the potential pool of vendors to perform services located on Guantanamo Bay. The Government is seeking sources to participate in an industry day by providing an oral or visual presentation to address solutions to shortages for permanent and/or temporary multi-purpose structures located on Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Refer the Government responses to industry questions for additional information regarding type of modular structures the Government is seeking. ? Oral or visual presentations will consist of a maximum of 45 minutes to brief and a maximum of 30 minutes for Government questions. The Government will only provide electricity for any electronic presentations. ? Presentation opportunities are available on 4 March 2020 or 5 March 2020 respectively. ? The Government will sponsor entry access to Guantanamo Bay. ? Interested parties are responsible for marking information that is proprietary in nature. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with travel, providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information requests. The Government is not obligated to, nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought notice or any subsequent travel. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, not does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. No subcontracting opportunity is anticipated. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract action based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
