Question: What is the operational purpose of the independently steerable situational camera? Answer: The intent of this requirement is to provide the Warfighter a simultaneous narrow field of view of a region within a wide field of view video image - a Picture in Picture (PnP) type functionality. 2.) Question: What is the operational altitude requirement for the Grey Eagle UAV? Answer: The EO/IR/LD payload must be capable of laser designating targets up to the MQ-1C UAS service ceiling of 25,000 feet. ------------------------------------------- This is a request for information (RFI) only to identify sources that can provide EO/IR/LD FMV payloads for the MQ-1C Gray Eagle and Gray Eagle Extended Range UAS. The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. PdM EO/IR Payloads makes no commitment to procure any of the items discussed, and release of this RFI should not be construed as such a commitment or as an authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought.
