The Fort Riley Recycle Program is currently accepting bids for the sale of approximately 30,000 lbs. of Bailed Aluminum Used Beverage Can Scrap. There are 36 bales total in this load and they primarily consist of used beverage cans that were magnetically separated from other materials twice to remove contamination (including other aluminum materials like foil and other aluminum products). The sorted cans were then bailed. There could be small amounts of contamination remaining but the bales are primarily clean
