Seeking available sources of supply for NSN 1095-01-304-9695. DLA Land and Maritime is considering a solicitation, and subsequent award, of an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for the item(s) on the attached Market Research Spreadsheet and Questionnaire. The resultant IQC could potentially range from 1 to 5 years in length. As a potential supplier of this item, we are asking that you fill out both the questionnaire and spreadsheet to the best of your knowledge and return by Nov 5, 2020, 11:59PM, est. We request negative responses (including the reason why you don't want to participate) also be returned within the desired timeframe so we can make a timely determination on whether or not a Long-Term Contract acquisition is possible. Upon receipt of a completed Market Survey we will further develop this procurement project. The information contained in the survey and spreadsheet will be used to generate a realistic and beneficial solicitation. The resultant solicitation will be issued as either a Commercial (FAR Part 12 or 13.5), or Non-Commercial (FAR Part 15) procurement. In order for us to determine if an item is commercial, we need you to provide the types of documentation specified in the questionnaire. Based on that documentation, the government will determine if the item is commercial per the definition found at FAR 2.101(b). It is your responsibility to provide data that assists the Contracting Officer make that determination. Please submit proof of commerciality along with the market research package.
