The TDP is proprietary to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). It has been determined to be uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer the part. The OEM is the only known manufacturing source for this material. The AMC/AMSC for this material is 3R. For a breakout of AMC/AMSC Coding, please review DFARS PGI 217.75 Parts 2-201.1 & 2-201.2. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial items in its solicitation for describing supplies.
