The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has a requirement for EA-18G Airbourne Electronic Attack (AEA) System Enhancement, Lot 1 recurring retrofit kits and installation. This effort will consist of modifications to AEA Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs) 7 and 8. NAVAIR intends to negotiate the effot as a sole source contract with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) Bethpage, NY. Award of the order will be made with authority under FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. As the original equipment manufacturer for the AEA system, NGSC has the manufacturing knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill this requirement within the time required. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. No phone call will be accepted. Propriety data and the responses will be protected where so designated. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) databaseto be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed effort based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Numbered Note 22.
