1.0 Description 1.1 The Naval Medical Research Unit is seeking information on a vendor that can provide a Compact Portable Neuromonitor for Intracranial Pressure (ICP) and Intracranial Temperature (ICT), Including training on a FIRM-FIXED rate for one year. 1.2 Request For Information (RFI) Only. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Government is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. The RFI respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned. The requirement is for a sole source, single-award contract to provide a neuromonitoring platform capable of continuously measuring intracranial pressure (ICP) and intracranial temperature (ICT). The ICP monitor needs to be a compact and portable device, able to continuously monitor ICP, measure intracranial temperature, support a variety of catheters connected to the system, touch screen interface, physiological alarms, rechargeable lithium ion battery, storage of data for up to 5 days, outputs for transferring patient data to other monitors, and outputs for extracting patient data to remote media types. This monitor needs to fully integrate with the existing equipment for ICP monitoring, to guarantee compatibility and consistency of data previously acquired, and that that will be simultaneously acquired in a different operating rooms. The ICP monitoring device needs to be compatible with the type of sensors and introducers that have been used at NAMRU-SA such as the Licox oxygen sensor and the Camino ICP sensor. The purchase of the ICP/ICT monitoring device should come with training. Period of performance is anticipated to be 12 months from award.
