The 30th Contracting Squadron is publicizing this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to gather industry information with respect to Repair and overlay Pine Canyon Road from Utah Avenue to Santa Lucia Canyon Road which is approximately 62,000 SY including return radiuses at Vandenberg SFB, CA. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB) and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result. The Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. The government is seeking to identify qualified, experienced, and interested disadvantaged small businesses capable of performing the type of work as described in “Attachment 1 – SOW, 18-1082B_Int DRAFT”. The following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applies to this request of information: 238990 All Other Specialty Trade Contractors. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $16.5M. This project intends to redesign and pave the intersection of New Mexico Ave and Washington Ave. The proposed intersection design shall support a CALTRANS traffic index of 9.0. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The proposed contract would be a firm-fixed-priced contract. All interested parties are invited to respond and must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (http://www.sam.gov/). The information requested will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency.
