This is a sources sought announcement only. All responses will be used for market analysis to determine appropriate acquisition strategy and to gain knowledge of potential businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below: Repair 2(two) barrel hanger roofs. The intent is to award two separate projects. Each roof has a similar scope of work with different total square footage for each. 95,100 total square feet and 59,588 total square feet respectively. The work includes removing and replacing the entire roof system. The repair work consists of replacing the existing TPO, EPDM membrane, and built-up roof systems and modifying flashing and roof drainage conditions to meet current code requirements and incidental related work. Other repair scope includes replacement of penetration flashings and curbs, temporary displacement and reinstallation of the snow guards, and replacing damaged snow guard components. The work includes a new fall protection system on the barrel roof. The sequence of work requires the barrel roof to be completed prior to work commencing on the adjacent low sloped roofs to minimize roof membrane damage due to excessive foot traffic. Eligible contractor shall prosses the following qualifications. Should an award result from this requirement, the contractor will be asked to submit this documentation WITH their proposal. Qualification of Manufacturer Thermoplastic Polyolefin sheet roofing system manufacturer must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing TPO roofing products. Qualifications of Applicator Roofing system applicator must be approved, authorized, or licensed in writing by the TPO sheet roofing system manufacturer for steep slope roof installation. Applicator must have a minimum of five years' experience as an approved, authorized, or licensed applicator with that manufacturer to whom is still in business and be approved at a level capable of providing the specified warranty. Qualifications of applicators will be verified with the roofing manufacturer during the bidding process. Supply the names, locations and client contact information of five projects, within the previous three years, of similar size and scope that the applicator has constructed using the manufacturer's roofing products submitted for this project along with the associated roofing membrane warranties. It is anticipated that the contract performance period will be 365 days including a winter shut down for each roof. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement is 238160 Roofing Contractors The size standard for NAICS 238160 is $19 Million. The government requests interested parties submit a response which includes a brief description of their company’s capabilities as well as sufficient information to demonstrate the ability to provide the required item.
