This work involves the water distribution, three service pumps, and controls serving W1 water distribution plant. The project requires replacement of the three service pumps, their pipe, valves, fittings, and related sensors with new equipment, new pipe sizes and local controls. The intent of the project is for provision of the complete and upgraded system of new pumps and affected water distribution piping for the W1 plant. The project shall include all pump intake and discharge piping, valves, and fittings to incorporate the changes in pipe sizing required by the project. The project also includes all pump mounting assemblies, new reinforced concrete equipment housekeeping placement pads as well as vibration isolation and anchoring as applicable per the pump manufacturer’s recommendations. Provide integration features for local monitoring of sensor data, required rate of water flow volume for each new pump. Procure and provide these items as part of this project to meet the project phasing for sequential commissioning and ensure compatibility of the new local control items with the future SCADA pump automation and controls project. The intent is for new sensing equipment to be useful for commissioning needs of the current project and allow full compatibility with separate and (pending) W7 SCADA upgrades project. ***Interested contractors to submit capabilities statement via e-mail to Danny Ortiz, Lead Contract Specialist, on/by response time/ date***
