In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) anticipates awarding a modification to existing Warehousing and Distribution Services Contract SP3300-15-C-5004 on a sole source basis to Accent Controls, Inc.; to plan, program, manage, and execute efficient and effective receiving, storage, inventory, packaging, Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS), stock control, stock selection, issue processing, packing, shipping, and distribution of repair parts/secondary items of predominantly Hazardous Material in support of on-base and worldwide customers at DLA Distribution Cherry Point, NC, for a four (4) month period (1 February 2020 -31 May 2020) pursuant to FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. Due to unanticipated acquisition process delays, it has become necessary to modify existing contract SP3300-15-C-5004 to allow for uninterrupted Warehousing and Distribution Services through 31 May 2020. Pursuant to the exception under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), only Accent Controls, Inc. is capable of providing the services at this time; award to any other source will result in unacceptable delays and cause a disruption to DLA Distribution Cherry Point, NC activities. The modification to current contract SP3100-15-C-5004 will serve as a temporary solution to fulfill immediate mission requirements. The J&A for this extension services will be posted as part of this notice once executed. This is not a solicitation for proposals or an invitation for bids. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice of a non-competitive action.
