The identified space will not have a cover/canopy with lighting. The contractor will need to include a cover/canopy with lighting. Most companies offering outdoor package lockers require a cover/canopy and lighting as part of the package. If the package locker does not require a canopy, then the bid does not need to include a canopy. What is the timeline for implementing a smart locker solution? 1-2 months What is the driving factor in looking for a smart locker solution? Currently, General Purchase Card deliveries are made to our transportation management office which has neither the manning nor storage for these deliveries. Package lockers are a good alternative because they don’t require manning or storage and customers can access their deliveries 24 hrs a day. What technology are you utilizing today for ordering? Orders are made on-line using a government credit card and are delivered to the transportation management office. Are you utilizing third party delivery services? UPS, FedEx, and other commercial delivery services deliver to our location. How are you looking at utilizing the lockers? Outdoor storage lockers are intended to be used for delivery of General Purchase Card deliveries, controlling access to packages by unlocking only by the recipient for 24 hour access Lowest price technically acceptable set aside for small business.
