INTRODUCTION The Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, MD F-35 Integrated Test Force (ITF) announces its intention to solicit and negotiate a firm fixed-price (FFP) purchase for upgrading storage capability which will allow the ITF to store and access mission critical assets. Under the authority of FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, this announcement is a Request for Quote (RFQ). ELIGIBILITY This requirement is being synopsized as a full and open acquisition under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 337215, Size Standard 500 employees, PSC Code 7125. All interested businesses are encouraged to respond. ANTICIPATED DELIVERY DATE September 01, 2023 ANTICIPATED CONTRACT TYPE This is a firm-fixed price procurement; therefore, the offeror's initial bid should represent the vendor's best quote in terms of price and acceptability. REQUIREMENTS Please see attached Statement of Work (SOW) for specifications and requirements. Based on questions recieved for the Weapon's Rack Shelving requirement, the governement has included with this solicitation updated versions of Attachment 1 - Questions From Vendors, and Attachment 2 - Diagram. Please note: the solicitation bidding due date has been extended to 25 August NLT 10am EST. If any vendors have already submitted a bid, they may provide an updated bid as necessary. All other terms and conditions remain the same. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION Technical acceptability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this synopsis/solicitation. Therefore, it is incumbent on the offeror to provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, diagrams, etc. in order for the Government to make an adequate technical assessment of the proposal. The Government will award on a Lowest Priced - Technically Acceptable basis (LPTA).
