The Fleet Readiness Center Procurement Group Patuxent River, MD 20650 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a sole source purchase order to UNITED TESTING SYSTEMS, INC., CAGE 0W1J8, 1375 S ACACIA AVE ST A FULLERTON CA 92831-5311, using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 procedures under FAR 13.106-1(b). The Fleet Readiness Center South West (FRCSW) has a requirement for periodic on-site Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Calibration Service (CS) of the Government owned United SFM300KN Load Frame, sensors and related ancillary components. The OEM vendor has sole source proprietary rights to the calibration and all parts. UNITED TESTING SYSTEMS, INC., is the current data rights holder to the necessary calibration software. For this reason, the government intends to procure the Preventive Maintenance and Calibration Service on a sole source basis from UNITED TESTING SYSTEMS, INC., CAGE 0W1J8, 1375 S ACACIA AVE ST A FULLERTON CA 92831-5311. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
