This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirements and basic tasks needed to perform Engineering Investigations (EIs) on NP2000 and 54H60 EPCS propeller system components. The contract shall be structured to provide multi-year support of engineering investigations. The scope of work to be performed includes, but is not limited to "as-received" functional checks to verify the reported discrepancy; disassembly of units to identify failures; documentation of original or previous build dimension records to those taken during disassembly; detailed physical, metallurgical and electrical examination, as necessary, to verify suspect components meet design requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS; however, responsible interested parties may submit information in which they can identify interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Responses must be received by 5:00 PM Eastern Time on 10 August 2020. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis based upon the responses received.
