The Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal is solicitating a Firm-Fixed Price, 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Long Term Contract (IDIQ LTC) for the Grip Assembly, Control, NSN: 1290-01-466-7722; Purchase Description, 2549968-5:19200, is competitive, Distribution D, Export Controlled, limited to DoD and US DoD Contractors only; NAICS: 336390. The 5-year IDIQ LTC will be a 100% Small Business set-aside. The minimum guaranteed quantity is 43 each. The 5-year maximum quantity is 786 each. The Grip Assembly is used in the M1A2 and M1A2 SEP Abrams tanks. It is the handle used by the commander to allow the solider to traverse the turret and elevate the gun. A First Article Test (FAT) is required and shall be examined and tested in accordance with contract requirements, the item specification(s), Quality Assurance Provisions (QAPs) and all drawings listed in the Technical Data Package. If a FAT is not required, the production lead time (PLT) (with Government approved FAT waiver) is 150 days after award, at a rate of 15 each per month. If a FAT is required, the FAT Report (FATR) is due 180 days after award. The PLT with FAT for the first delivery is approximately 210 days after award, at a rate of 15 each per month. Packaging is Military/B; Packaging shall be in accordance with SPI NUMBER–12549968-5, DATED–07 JULY 04. Inspection and Acceptance are origin. Free on Board is destination.
