The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price contract to Boston Scientific Corp for service and preventative maintenance of the EP Lab System Pro, Micropace, and Angiojet Systems at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. The contract will consist of a base year and 4 option years; the period of performance for the base year is 01Oct2025 – 30Sept2026. Boston Scientific Corp is the only source available to provide OEM service and maintenance on the EP Lab System Pro, Micropace, and Angiojet System as they do not sell parts or services to any 3rd party provider. The total estimated value is $435,916.70. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is not a request for quote or proposals.
