The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price contract to AIRGAS USA LLC for the establishment HELIUM CHROM 80 CGA 580; LZ 35.61% VISX/HE 80 with the cylinder rental. The Service will consist of one base year and 2 option years; the period of performance for the base year is 27 APR 2025 – 26 Apr MAR 2026. AIRGAS USA LLC is the only source available to provide HELIUM CHROM 80 CGA 580; LZ 35.61% VISX/HE 80 with the cylinder rental. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is not a request for quote or proposals.
