Sources Sought Notice Market Research in accordance with FAR Part 10 DLA Land and Maritime is preparing to solicit a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) and is seeking to identify possible manufacturing sources for NSN 6140-01-502-1009, Nomenclature Battery. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is not a Request For Proposal, Request For Quote, or Invitation For Bid. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the purpose of market research only and the Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material because of this inquiry. The Government will not pay for any information submitted by respondents in response to this Sources Sought Notice. Quotes will not be accepted at this time. The estimated RFQ posting date is undetermined at this time. This announcement does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will not pay for any preparation costs associated with this Sources Sought. All timely responses will be considered. No hard copy or facsimile submissions will be accepted. The Government does not intend to rank submittals or provide any reply to interested firms.
