NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego is seeking capable sources and industry input to assist small craft crew personnel in Pre/Post Deployment inspections, surveys and overhaul of all Pacific Fleet (PACFLT) standard ships' embarked boats for U.S. Navy ships and Boat Units home ported. There is no incumbent, the period of performance is a five-year period, beginning 26 May 2025 to 25 May 2029. The anticipated award date is 25 May 2025. It is anticipated that the Request for Quote (RFQ) will be posted on 17 December 2024. The resulting contract is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price contract type. If interested in this opportunity, please submit a capabilities statement (the capability statement shall be no more than three (3) pages in length) with PWS feedback by 23 October 2024 at 11:00 AM PST and shall be submitted to Mr. Jason Pelle at jason.a.pelle.civ@us.navy.mil. The Government is performing market research in order to determine if small businesses possess the capability to execute the requirements within this acquisition. Respondents need to indicate all small business designations. Interested business firms who meet the capability requirements identified in this notice are requested to reply to this notice with a response. Based upon small business responses received, consideration will be given to defining what part of the acquisition, if any, will be set-aside for small business competition. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is attached to this announcement and please include your business size and cage code in your submission. This is a sources sought for market research purposes. The Government’s requirement may change at any time. DO NOT submit proposals in response to this sources sought. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Interested contractors are to submit the following information: company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, e-mail address; DUNS, and information regarding your company’s experience identifying: contracting agency, contract number, title, place of performance, years of performance, and value of contract per year. Interested firms should submit a document which furnishes information describing contractor support to assist small craft crew personnel in Pre/Post Deployment inspections, surveys and overhaul of all Pacific Fleet (PACFLT) standard ships' embarked boats for U.S. Navy ships and Boat Units home ported: The submissions should be Times New Roman, font size 12 and should not exceed eight (8) one-sided, 8 " X 11" pages in Microsoft Word or PDF format to the contract specialist via email to: jason.a.pelle.civ@us.navy.mil. Submissions must be received via email no later than 11:00 AM Pacific Standard Time on Wednesday, 23 October 2024.
