The Contractor shall provide semiannual preventative maintenance of one Varian Linatron M9 X-ray system and repair services of two Varian Linatron M9 X-ray systems including system subcomponents in accordance with manufacturer specifications in accordance with Varian Linatron-M Maintenance Manual available from the manufacturer. System requiring preventative maintenance includes the following items: Linatron M9, Serial Number: 9054 Systems subject to repair services includes the following items: Linatron M9, Serial Number: 9054 Linatron M9, Serial Number: 9040 Preventative Maintenance shall performed in accordance with recommended manufacturer maintenance. Including: 1. Clean and inspect console, modulator cabinet, X-ray head, RF unit and cooling unit. 2. Inspect each transmission line section for damage. Any damaged transmission lines sections must be replaced. 3. Check the motor drive chain for proper tension. Adjust the tension if needed. 4. Replace the coolant filter twice each year and change the coolant once a year. 5. Adjust the equipment to manufacturer specifications and record the results. The contractor shall provide Emergency Repairs for the covered systems. In the event that emergency repairs are required, the contractor will be contacted by the COR. The contractor shall respond onsite at ATC on the next business day following notification from the COR to diagnose and repair the covered systems. Contractor shall not perform any repairs without COR authorization. All replacement parts and materials shall be OEM parts for the unit for which they will be used. Any substitute parts must have approval by the COR prior to use.
