The Purpose of This amendment is to clarify the Site Visit will be held on Tuesday, 26 July 2022 instead of Wednesday. This procurement will be issued as a 100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses (SB) through RFP procedures under FAR 15 and other FAR Parts and Subparts as applicable. This is a Design/Build requirement to install a Fire Suppression System for Building 90509. Building 90509 is a metal building that was built in 1996. This project will provide a new fire sprinkler system for the entire building. The building is occupied. The contractor is notified that the facility is full of shelving with equipment items that are issued to personnel daily and replenished daily. All work to be completed under RFP No. W9124A22R0018. The contractor shall provide design/build services and furnish all labor, material, equipment, supervision, transportation, permits, fees and licenses necessary to install a Fire Suppression System for Building 90509, located at Fort Huachuca, AZ. The tentative date for issuing the RFP is on or around July 21, 2022; with proposals due 30 calendar days later on-or-around August 19, 2022 (the RFP will state the exact time/date that proposals are due). The anticipated contract award date is approximately 15 calendar days or less after receipt of proposals. The Contract Performance Period is 120 working days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Location of the work is at Building 90509, Fort Huachuca, AZ 85613. NAICS Code 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors is applicable to this RFP solicitation and the Small Business Size Standard is $16.5M. The Construction Cost Range for this project (Magnitude of Construction) is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Interested offerors are asked to please first read over the RFP and all its associated attachments/documents in their entirety prior to forwarding any questions to the Contracting Officer. A cut-off time/date for receipt of questions will be established and listed on the solicitation notice on SAM.gov. NO oral questions will be accepted. The Site Visit will be held on Tuesday, 26 July 2022 at 8:00 am (Arizona Time). Only one Site Visit will be conducted and no requests for additional Site Visits or make-up Site Visits will be granted. We will be meeting at the DOC Conference Room located at: Army Contracting Command-APG, Huachuca Division DOC Operations Branch 600 Augur Ave., Bldg. 22208, Fort Huachuca, AZ 85613-7070 Attached is a map and turn-by-turn driving directions to the DOC Building #22208 You will need Driver’s License/Photo ID, Proof of Insurance, Registration and no felonies on your record to access Fort Huachuca. You will have to park in the parking lot at the gate and go to the building and check in. Please allow yourself plenty of time so you can be on time for the Site Visit. It is the responsibility of all interested offerors to check the SAM.gov website as necessary for any Amendments to the RFP (to include the day proposals are due). TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Cochise County, AZ will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation. It is determined that it is in the best interest of the Government to use lowest price technically acceptable source selection process for this requirement.
