This is a Design/Build requirement for Repair Roof, Buildings 51005, 51450, 51451, and 63845 located at Fort Huachuca, AZ under Work Order- No. JAG00004-0J, RFP No. W9124A22R0017. The contractor shall provide Design/Build for four projects. All work and materials will be based on UFC 3-110-03 Roofing Standard. The designer of record shall determine wind uplift pressures and dimensions of the corners, perimeter, and field of the roof in accordance with ASCE-7, Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and other Structures. Delineate calculated values in the roof specification or drawings. The roofs will be rated for winds up to 125 mph. The location is at the following buildings; 51005, 51450, 51451, and 63845, located at Fort Huachuca, AZ. Reference attachment Advanced Copy Statement of Objectives (SOO) Repair Roof Buildings 51005, 51450, 51451, and 63845 for this requirement. The tentative date for issuing the RFP is on or around July 11th, 2022; with proposals due 30 calendar days later on-or-around August 11th, 2022 (the RFP will state the exact time/date that proposals are due). The anticipated contract award date is approximately 15 calendar days or less after receipt of proposals. The Contract Performance Period is 132 working days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Location of the work is at Buildings 51005, 51450, 51451, and 63845, Fort Huachuca, AZ 85613. NAICS Code 238160 Roof Contractors is applicable to this RFP solicitation and the Small Business Size Standard is $16.5 M. The Construction Cost Range for this project (Magnitude of Construction) is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Cochise County, AZ will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation. It is determined that it is in the best interest of the Government to use lowest price technically acceptable source selection process for this requirement.
