This is a Design/Build requirement to Repair Plumbing in Control Tower Building 91249 and Replace Existing Boiler with Efficiency Boiler Building 55350 at Fort Huachuca, AZ under Work Order- Numbers FEE18018-8J and HIO32505-8J, RFP Number W9124A22R0012. Project #1: The contractor shall provide construction/repair services and furnish all labor, material, equipment, supervision, transportation, permits, fees, licenses necessary to replace the existing copper domestic water lines with new domestic water lines for Building 91249, located at Fort Huachuca, AZ. Project #2: The contractor shall provide build services and furnish all labor, material, equipment, supervision, transportation, permits, fees, licenses necessary to replace existing boiler at Building 55350, located at Fort Huachuca, AZ. Reference attachment Advanced Copy Statement of Objectives (SOO) Combined Repair Plumbing in Control Tower & Replace Existing Boiler with Efficiency Boiler for this requirement. The tentative date for issuing the RFP is on or around June 29, 2022; with proposals due 30 calendar days later on-or-around July 29, 2022 (the RFP will state the exact time/date that proposals are due). The anticipated contract award date is approximately 15 calendar days or less after receipt of proposals. The Contract Performance Period is 45 working days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed on Project #1 and 140 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed on Project #2. Location of the work is at Building 55350 and Building 91249, Fort Huachuca, AZ 85613. NAICS Code 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors is applicable to this RFP solicitation and the Small Business Size Standard is $16.5 M. The Construction Cost Range for this project (Magnitude of Construction) is between $250,000 and $500,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Cochise County, AZ will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation. It is determined that it is in the best interest of the Government to use lowest price technically acceptable source selection process for this requirement.
