Amendment SPE8EG25R0006-0003 is hereby issued to revise instructions for electronic transmission of proposals/proposal revisions. PLEASE NOTE: This amendment is only open to Offerors that previously submitted proposals that have been determined to be within the competitive range. Solicitation closing is extended to Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 3:00PM EDT. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged and in force. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a Synopsis as required by the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637(e)) and the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act (41 U.S.C. 416) and fulfills the synopsis and advertising requirements prescribed in FAR Part 5 – Publicizing Contract Actions. The solicitation will consist of one NSN: Line Item 0001: NSN – 4130-01-486-5479 (Impeller, Gear Assembly) This item is proprietary to Johnson Controls Navy Systems, LLC (Cage Code: 66935) (Part Number - 377-15911-001). Adequate data for the evaluation of alternate offers is not available at the procurement agency. The offeror must provide a complete data package including data for the approved and alternate part for evaluation. The solicitation issue date will be on or around 1/10/2025, and the closing date will be on or around 2/10/2025. The solicitation will be unrestricted, will be a definite quantity type contract with an option quantity, and does not authorize delivery of any material. The government plans to award a Fixed Price Definite Quantity Contract for a quantity of 40 each with a 75% option quantity option. Only FOB Origin pricing will be acceptable. In order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, you must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The SAM site may be accessed at https://www.sam.gov. The final contract award decision will be Price Only. A copy of the solicitation can be obtained through the DLA Internet Bulletin Board System (DIBBS). DLA Troop support is researching the possibility of a solicitation for the referenced item under a Definite Quantity Contract with an exercisable option quantity. Support of the item will be based on DLA Stock Deliveries, where the material is delivered to DLA depots in the United States. The estimated base quantity at this time is 22 each, with a 100% option quantity that may be exercised, but no dollar value information is available.
