This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document 011791 is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-95, Effective 31 May 2018 (updated with Class Deviation 2018-00007). This is a Firm Fixed Price type contract. This requirement is for (1) Vision Coordinate Measuring Machine System (CMM) with touch probe, including computer controller and software and setting standards, for calibration of various small arms and ammunition gages (SAAG) and other dimensional gages, part number QVT1-L404Z1L-D, Mitutoyo Quick Vision Active 404 with touch probe and accessories. See the attached Performance Work Statement for the requirement specifications. This is a Brand Name Only Requirement. Award will be made to the lowest price, technically acceptable, responsive, responsible offeror. Vendors submitting a response to any RFQ that includes a requirement for supplies and/or services that have incurred, or that may incur laps in maintenance support, shall include as part of its response any applicable reinstatement fee(s). All items shall be delivered within 90 Days after Receipt of Order (ARO) and shipped FOB Destination to the following location: Redstone Arsenal, AL, 35898. Early delivery is authorized at no additional cost to the Government. Quotes are due by 5 pm CST Thursday, July 9, 2020 and shall be emailed directly to: Damesha.d.williams.civ@mail.mil The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 30 calendar days from the dated specified for receipt of offers.
