The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, on the behalf of Joint Manufacturing Technology Center (JMTC), is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in and the resources to perform industrial plant equipment machine moves located at the Rock Island Arsenal, Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC). The service to be performed is industrial plant equipment machine moves within the Joint Manufacturing & Technology Center (RIA-JMTC), located in Rock Island, IL 61299. The contractor will move, install and level the machines and their attaching feeders and tables per manufacturer's specification. RIA-JMTC has the authority to set specifications that maybe less restrictive than the manufacturer. The contractor will contact the COR for final specification approval. The movement of the machines will only require any necessary tear down and physical movement. The installation process will only require placement of the machine, leveling of the machine (feeders and tables), and any floor mounting. RIA JMTC will disconnect and reconnect machine main feed items; electrical power supply, pneumatic supply lines, water/coolant lines, computer/communication cable, duct work, and any gas supply lines. RIA-JMTC personal will remove and install any liquids that are required to perform the move. Vendors who are interested shall complete the attached Technical Information Questionnaire and provide a capabilities statement. Interested vendors shall also review the attached "DRAFT - SOW Machine Move and Install" and provide feedback on the Technical Information Questionnaire.
