This is a Sources Sought / Request For Information (RFI) notice. The U.S. Government is seeking to identify companies to provide a retractable painting enclosure with 18,000 CFM air handling system with anteroom and 2 SAM HEPA units, and down draft table, filters, lighting, extended warranty, shipping to the Republic of Korea (ROK), installation, and training on the enclosure. This item will be used for painting aircraft blades that contain Hexavalent Chromium and other toxins. This will be installed at USAG Humphreys, Pyeongtaek city, Gyeonggi province. Please reference the attached salient characteristics for the detailed requirements. This RFI notice is in preparation for an upcoming Request For Proposals (RFP) notice, that will lead to award of a contract. Responding to this RFI does not involve any commitment, agreement, or business arrangement. Responding to this RFI will help the U.S. Government refine the Performance Work Statement and identify companies that may be capable and interested in submitting proposals for this work in the future.
